Updates

So it’s already been 4 months without blogging. So much for updating every 2-3 weeks.

The bell’s palsy cleared up after about 3 weeks. Not really sure what caused it neither did I really notice it once I knew what it was. I suspect it may have been more of an issue if I didn’t work from home and had to deal with people staring or asking questions. All in all to look at I guess it would have looked serious – like I just had a stroke – but for me personally it actually wasn’t that bad looking back. Luckily I only had it for around 2-3 weeks but had it been longer I doubt I would anything I just said would ring true.

I intend to try maintain the blog, after-all it’s been 6 years and I have a total of 8 posts (Including this one). Many things have been happening over the past few years and I have many things to talk about on a vast array of subjects from technical related that I do for a living (Infrastructure Management, Scaling and Performance) to business to politics.

Some of the subjects I intend to blog about in the coming months off the top of my head are,

- Cacti
- Nagios
- The UK Election
- My Ipod (Received today)
- My new car (Arrives in a few weeks)
- MongoDB
- mySQL
- High availability
- DDoS
- Dedicated Servers / Managed Hosting / Automation
- Poker
- Business
- My life, what has changed in the past few years and what my future plans are
